Berry & Linné is dedicated to an ongoing investigation of the hidden potential within the contemporary built environment. We consider everyday typologies and situations to be the starting point for architectural speculation; by beginning with what’s already there we strive to uncover the possibilities of what could be there. In our work, we utilize and manipulate conventions of form, program and patterns of development in the proposition of new and improved (and perhaps unexpected) solutions to seemingly familiar architectural questions. It is our belief that the optimization of existing forms and ideas is a more productive enterprise than a wholesale restructuring of our daily ways of life.
